Hoogie are a 5 piece Scottish folk band, who has been playing traditional music festivals and recording albums since 1997. website : http://www.hoogie.co.uk/ Their music is an exciting variety of Scottish tunes and songs. Much of the music has been composed by the band members themselves, and several of the compositions have been recorded by other artists. Hoogie were winners at the renowned Danny Kyle Open Stage competition at Glasgow's Celtic Connections in 2002
