Honest Mort and his Gentlemen of Industry is a British alternative folk band from Oxford. It consists of singer and guitarist Luke Mackay, banjo player Wilber Sears, accordion player Adam Leeson, double bassist Matthew Beattie, and the best dressed member of the band Michael Fresson on percussion. The band is usually joined by violinist Rosalie Tribe. Named after a fictitious character Honest Mort, the Gentlemen of Industry incorporate a typical pop backline of guitar, percussion, and bass supported by a banjo and accordion.
