There are at least two bands/acts called Hollander. 1. Formed in 1979 with a CBS record deal already in their pockets, Hollander was a short-lived Dutch rock band featuring Toon van den Berg (vocals), Carl Carlton (guitar), Ruud Englebert (drums), Otto Cooymans (keyboard) and Jan Pijnenburg (drums). CBS firmly believed in the band's potential. Their début LP, Hollander (1980), was mixed in the United States. They got to tour with Golden Earring and Ellen Foley, but sales were disappointing and Hollander folded.
