Hof Brau was the jangle pop/neo-acoustic home recording project of Ichiro Toshima (ex-Debonaire) and Akiyo Fukuda. The two met when Fukuda was brought in to play piano on Debonaire's 1989 single "Through the Street". Their sole release, Grinder, was released on cassette in 1990. Only 50 copies exist. It is a bittersweet collection of fuzzy pop songs. It has a unique Indian influence with its choice of instruments (the harmonium and bulbul tarang).
