About Hermann Edlerawer
Hermann Edlerawer (* ca. 1395 in Mainz ; † ca. 1458 in Vienna) was a lawyer and composer working in Vienna at the end of the late Middle Ages. Hermann Edlerawer was born in Mainz in the last years of the 14th century and worked as a clergyman in the diocese there. In the winter of 1413/14 he matriculated at the University of Vienna. From 1427 he was in the unknown service of Emperor Sigismund , who gave him a coat of arms, and Archduke Albrecht V.
