About her tree
Konventionelle Instrumente gibt es beim Musikprojekt her tree nicht. Sie singt. Der Wald spielt die Musik. Das hört man bis auf das eine oder andere Vogelgezwitscher im Hintergrund jedoch kaum. Vielmehr klingt der Wald nach einer Mischung aus groovigem Pop und Indie-Musik. Seit vier Jahren streift Alexandra Cumfe durch die Wälder, um Klänge zu sammeln. Neben Niederbayern nahm sie auch Wälder in Österreich, Slowenien und Thailand auf. Mit dem Produzenten Max Spindler wurde die Natur zu einem „Spielkasten, um Instrumente zu bauen“.
