More than anything, Hello Marx is just four friends with radically different backgrounds and influences making music that even they have a hard time describing. A classically trained jazz pianist, a guy who owns an acoustic bass, a self taught guitarist and a guy who used to play in a metal band wouldn't really make a listener expect to hear a raw mix of pretty much everything you've ever heard on the internet. If Hello Marx's influences were LP's, you'd have to find a lot of milk crates.
