About Heavy Metal Mater
Heavy Metal Mater is a heavy metal band led by frontman Mater on vocals and three unnamed forklifts. One on drums and two on guitar. The band was formally named Mater and the Gas-Caps, they made garage rock out of a garage. Once they got good enough they performed their first gig at a truck stop. A fan there asked if they had a record. They did not and Mater told them they’d “be right back”. Mater and the Gas-Caps went to record their record and while doing so a fly came into the studio and disrupted the drummer.
