About Heavy Mama
Formed over 10 years ago while studying at Perth College, Heavy Mama toured across Scotland for several years, serving up a potent mix of blues, wild onstage jamming, psychedelia and a fresh take on rock music that earned them slots at blues festivals around the country and support slots with the likes of blues legend Otis Grand and indie favourites, Idlewild. Even though the band are now spread across different parts of the world (Robbie now lives in Finland), they still perform together whenever possible.
