Started in January 2000 in the Ghent area (Belgium that is), as a classic instrumental surf music band, the Hawaiian Astro Boys have now evolved into new universes. Although we’ve always been playing own written songs, our set list contained the well known covers of the Shadows, Dick Dale, the Ventures and many others and soundtrack tunes like Hawai-5-0, 007, … (and if you ask gently, we still like to play one of those immortal melodies).
