About Hattifatteners
Hattifatteners (aka Mistland Prattlers) was a new age instrumental music project created by Russian composer Lex Plotnikoff (1977-2022, leader of Mechanical Poet). It is based on Tove Jansson's "Moomin Troll" fantasy book series. The only album, Stories Fom the Clay Shore, is divided in four parts, each corresponding to a particular season and a particluar Moomin book: Comet in Moominland (spring), The Magician's Hat (summer), The Exploits of Moominpappa (autumn) and Moominland Midwinter (winter).
