About hathawaymusic
Matt Hathaway is a native of Central California and describes his music as California Cowboy Blues. His musical style first developed with his interest in acoustic guitar and how it can be used in rock music, mainly from listening to Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, who were his biggest influences early on. He has been recording his own music with Rock bands on the west coast of California and in Georgia since 1997 where he also was influenced by the Southern Rock of The Black Crows, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and The Allman Brothers.
