Much loved stalwarts of the late 80s, Sydney pub scene, at one point it seemed that the Happy Hate Me Nots were destined for success outside Australia. Graduating from Sydney's legendary Waterfront Records, the band signed a deal with San Francisco's Rough Trade Records and had their first album, "Out" released in the US. Unfortunately things didn't work out. They released a final EP and essentially ceased activity until late 2006 when the band reformed for a sold out show at Sydney's Annandale Hotel.
