About Hans Peter Hiby
Hans Peter Hiby was born in Gevelsberg Germany in 1962 and has lived in Wuppertal since 1967. He has worked as musician/composer in the contemporary free jazz and improvised music scene since 1985. In 1979 he received from the saxophonist Peter Brötzmann his first tenor saxophone. During the 1980’s he played with various musicians from the local scene. He presented with the Wuppertaler painter and Gallerist Jürgen “Bolle” Grölle and others the performance “Perpetuum moda”.
