About Ha Manganon
Ha Manganon, which is Hebrew for "The Mechanism," started coming together toward the beginning of 2008 as a trio comprising Amiel Shapiro on lead vocals and guitar, Binyamin Chiram on bass, and Jacob Nehman on drums. Bili Amit completed the current quartet several months later bringing rhythm guitar and harmonizing vocals to the mix. Amiel was born and raised in Tel Aviv and is the primary composer and songwriter of the group. He's been playing guitar and writing since his teens and has also produced albums for other artists.
