About Gyorgy Geiger
György Geiger (born 1944, August 3 in Homokmégy, Hungary) Kossuth Prize and Franz Liszt Prize winner trumpeter. Biography: After graduating from the music high school, he received his artist-teacher diploma at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music at the age of 23 (1967). Meanwhile, at the age of 20 (1964), he became first trumpet player in the orchestra of the Hungarian State Opera, where he played for 4 years (until 1968). In 1969 he joined the Hungarian Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra as solo trumpeter
