About Gwyn Jay Allen
A Jazz musician born in Loughborough to immigrants from Sierra Leone, but has lived in the UK for a while after living in Freetown for 18 years. He is quite well known for impersonating Louis Armstrong. Early on, he simply played guitar and sang at Tube stations. He has toured with various groups, and was a finalist on the 'Stars in Their Eyes' show on ITV. He has recorded a few albums such as 'I Love Louis', and also recorded with a few other artists. He is currently married with two sons.
