About GVLA
Gvla (or gula) is gluttony and Ira is wrath. “One was chosen as a praise to the pleasures of life, and the other is for us related to the shameless continual rise of fascism and war in the world.” Gvla was formed in 2019 by Filious (strings, growls) and Hellzabet (drums) in Bremen, Germany. Originally from Mexico and Portugal, they met in the Summer of 2019 in between beers and shows. In February 2020, GVLA performed the first live show just before the pandemic hit.
