Gun Ghaol is the world's only metalcore band that performs solely in the Gàidhlig language (Scots Gaelic). They were founded by accident by vocalist Colin Stone in late 2022 after he posted a throwaway TikTok. The video - which was Colin screaming in Gaelic - got thousands of likes and shares in a matter of days. From this, Colin started Gun Ghaol formally in October 2023, releasing the debut single 'Bha Thu Ceàrr'. This was followed by a debut album 'Leum' in late 2024, and their debut as a performing act at Belladrum Festival 2025.
