Gülben Ergen was born on 25 August 1972 in Kadıköy, Istanbul, Turkey. She completed her secondary education at Erenköy Girls’ High School and later graduated from Kadıköy Business High School. At age sixteen, she participated in the “Cinema Star” competition organized by the Hürriyet newspaper and won second place, which introduced her to the worlds of modeling and acting.
