About Guido Nielsen
Guido Nielsen was born in Amsterdam and studied piano with Polo de Haas, graduating from the Utrechts Conservatorium. An adept violinist as well as pianist, he has recorded many solo albums as well performed with the legendary "Beau Hunks" orchestra. His astounding precision and ebullient, lively "bounce" lend themselves perfectly to the music of the ragtime and novelty eras. He teaches Biology and Mathematics in Amsterdam, Holland.
