About Guan Xia

Guan Xia (born in Kaifeng, Henan Province) is a Chinese composer. In 1985 he graduated from the Department of Composition of the China Central Conservatory of Music. Guan Xia was Director of the Opera Company at the China Opera and Dance Drama Theatre and Vice Director of the China Oriental Song and Dance Ensemble. At present, Mr. Guan is Director of the China National Symphony Orchestra and the China National Chorus.
