About GROOVY CLASS
Based in Ibaraki Prefecture, the band was formed in July 1995 by three junior high school classmates, Kame (Vo/G), So-hey (B), and Takatoshi (Dr), at the school festival. They made their live house debut in 1998, and began to focus on their band activities, such as making demo tapes. Their unknown talent was proven when they appeared at the "Teens Music Festival" sponsored by Yamaha and won the regional championship for two consecutive years in 2000 and 2001.
