Since Gridlock Takedown was formed in 2000 the band has seen numerous line-up and musical changes. The goal however has always been the same: To create intense metal that is not restricted by sub-genre limitations. Taking the heaviness of Morbid Angel, the groove of Meshuggah, the melody of Opeth, the technicality of Death and the dynamics of Isis, the band have never been afraid to experiment with their sound and continue to blend styles without sounding contrived.
