“It put a real bittersweet vibe to the whole day,” singer/guitarist Shawn VanBrocklin said of the day Greene Reveal spun out on black ice, sending the gang into a ditch and totaling their van and trailer in Ohio on their way home from the end a winter tour in January 2009. The bittersweet part? That was talking with Alternative Press the very same day as one of the magazine’s Unsigned Artist Showcase selections. Thankfully, no one was hurt despite hurdling almost 30 feet into a snowy ditch.
