About Gravlyky Supersonics
The nu-rock band Gravlyky Supersonics was founded in the year 2004 as a studio project. The aim was to create the rock opera "Midday night" based on "LAY OF IGOR'S CAMPAIGN." "LAY OF IGOR'S CAMPAIGN" (Slovo o polku Igoreve ) – is a twelfth-century literary masterpiece of ancient Rus’. The Lay of Igor's Campaign was probably composed soon after the unsuccessful 1185 campaign of Prince Igor of Novgorod–Seversk against the Cumans (Polovtsians) of the steppe.
