About Grapes of Grain
Grapes of Grain hail from Utrecht, The Netherlands and were born in August 2006. It started out as a project of singer Alexis Vos, but after the release of the debut EP ‘Depending on the Weather’ a band was formed. The line-up compromises Berend Jan Ike (guitar, vocals), Ruben Bazuin (bass), Arno Breuer (drums) and Stefan Breuer (piano, banjo). The group plays melodic, intimate guitar pop. Sometimes rocky, sometimes folky. Influences are drawn from the likes of Ryan Adams, R.E.M., Josh Rouse and Pavement.
