About Gothic Farmyard
An alternative early 80's band who stockpiled songs but released only 2 cassette tapes (limited edition). The band were described as frenetic, provocative, entertaining, humorous and engaging by local press. They gigged solidly from 1980 to 1985 with bands ranging from The Scientists, Harem Scarem to X and touring acts. In 1983 they became known as Gothic Farmyard although not really a gothic sub culture band. The name arrived before gothic became a music-fashion sub culture.
