GMR started in January 1997 as the Pillsbury Buddhas with Jacob Pete, Josh Hagen, Mark Brand and Matt Quay. Later becoming Pills Bury Buddhas, The Booduhs, Alkutezio, then finally Good Morning Reality in April 2000. Mark left in April 1997 and garrrr joined, Matt left in Summer May 1997, Bobby joined Summer 1997. Without a drummer JP and garrrr started to play drums until Josh quit midshow in April 1999 and Scott Monaghan became the drummer. "Nothing Lasts Forever" was recorded Summer 1999
