Glowkid is an experimental alternative rock band from Providence, Rhode Island. They combine the loose jangle of bands like Sonic Youth and Pavement with diamond cutter riffs and the freewheeling soloing reminiscent of Dinosaur Jr. Always with a strong sense of composition, Glowkid channels everything from quiet atmospherics to crumbling sonic avalanches into 4 minute songs about things and stuff.
