Glen of Guinness is an Irish Folk-Band from Wallis (Switzerland). Found on December 11 1992. The name of the band was quickly found the evening before in a small pub in Sierre. Source of the name originated from the beer Guinness. At the beginning they often played unplugged in small pubs and bars. But soon they had bigger shows. 1995 they got Pierre Genoud at the Paléo Festival. He is still Manager up to now. http://www.glenofguinness.ch/
