In the 1985 Gramado Cinema Fest Awards, Glauco Sagebin was honored for his work in the animation 'As Cobras' being voted Best Original Music for Short Movie. Few who have followed the career of the pianist and composer were surprised at the result of the balloting. The single award was only a glimpse of the path the artist's career would take since he first appeared on the music scene more than two decades ago. As pianist and performer, he has touched many musical bases, in and out of jazz, during his entire career.
