About Girl Impressor
Girl Impressor formed in early 2007, when creative writing students Giles Roy, Laura Kane, and JJ Brewis banded initially as a joke. Armed with keyboards, guitars and an elusive microphone, the trio deliver sensible micro-pop mixed with blenders of chestnuts for a bamboozling yet satisfying result. Their debut EP, Demonstration Farrist is a four-track ode to the man who brought them together: Roger Farr. The EP blends sensible pop elements with chaotic noise mixtures, eerie electronica, and heartfelt symphonic lyricisms.
