About Giovanni Battista Ferrini

Giovanni Battista Ferrini (Rome, circa 1601 to 1674) was an Italian composer, organist and harpsichordist. He was organist at the church of Saint-Louis-des-French Rome from 1619 as well as the main church of the Oratory in Rome, the Chiesa Nuova (Santa Maria in Valicella) from 1623 to 1653. He could be part of the entourage of Girolamo Frescobaldi . The twenty years that remained to him were busy traveling around Italy and occur in different churches (especially in Rome
