About Gilligan Smiles
Since the closing years of schooling, Michael Scalzo and James Becker have found a mutual appreciation for melodically strong and layered lo-fi sounds, dip dyed in phasered charm. While meandering through the corridors of James’ exceptionally large Melbourne house, attempting to expel their creative spirit in more ways than wine and cigarettes, some recording of music eventuated in James’ bedroom; albeit in-between ritualistic animistic coffee making ceremonies and backyard cricket.
