About Gil Rose
Gil Rose is an American conductor and the founder and Artistic Director of the Boston Modern Orchestra Project, a professional orchestra in the United States committed to commissioning, performing, and recording 20th- and 21st-century music. Gil Rose was born in Pittsburgh, PA and received his Bachelor of Music from the University of Cincinnati - College Conservatory of Music. He later enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University, where he received his Master of Fine Arts degree and Artist Diploma.
