Giacomo Tropea (c. 1590 - after 1622) was a Neapolitan composer in the service of Francesco Filomarino, to whom he dedicated his two published books of madrigals. The 2007 CD "Madrigalisti Calabresi" performed by Hesperimenta Vocal Ensemble and released by Istituto di Bibliografia Musicale Calabrese for the First International Festival La musica a Tropea tra Rinascimento e Barocco contains three of his works.
