Bits of Country/American Folk/Brit-Folk and blues combine to make up the Ghost of a Dog sound. They’ve been described as “Calexico fronted by a Country Kate Bush”, and draw their influences from a wide range of genres, but all underpinned by their collective love of acoustic based music & 70’s songwriters such as Joni Mitchell & Neil Young and with a liberal helping of Lone Justice style balls. Formed in Monmouth on the South Wales borders in 2006
