Their lively yet haunting folk music is the voice of an ancient Sakha civilization, who’ve sung and played around campfires on the Central Asian plain for centuries. In spite of their Russian nationality, the Sakha have fought hard to maintain their nomadic pagan culture. German and Klavdia are determined to stoke the embers of tradition through music. Their performance includes several revived Sakha instruments that had largely gone out of practice
