
Founded in 1946, the Georgetown Chimes are Georgetown University's oldest all-male a cappella singing group. From the original barbershop standards on which the group was founded, the Chimes' repertoire has grown to include 50s and 60s classics, hymns, and show tunes. Beginning with the eponymous first record of 1946, the Chimes have recorded two dozen albums and established a massive repertoire of music. The Chimes continue to perform regularly at both private and public engagements at Georgetown University and throughout the Washington
