About Geoclipse
Geoclipse is the stage name of George Smith Prounis (1988-present). "Wilderness Fortress" was recorded independently in George's college dorm-room throughout 2008. "Blood Feathers" is Geoclipse's newest project. Some artists who inspire Geoclipse are Devendra Banhart, Nick Drake, Mark Kozelek, Joanna Newsom, Mariee Sioux, Songs of Green Pheasant, M. Ward, Wilderness, and Neil Young. Geoclipse studied conservation biology at SUNY-ESF in Syracuse, NY. He now lives in Stillwater OK, where he studies adult neurogenesis as a PhD student.
