genedefect, a 4 piece metal band from western sydney, jumped into the metal scene in late 2005 with support shows all around sydney, recording and releasing thier first demo cd in 2005 gave them and understanding of where they were in the industry and were confident that they could make thier mark in the metal scene. through 2006 genedefect have been perfecting thier sound and performance which has brought them to this point in 2007 with a release of thier new demo in april and an EP by the end of the year
