
Gene Norman (Eugene Nabatoff, January 30, 1922 - November 2, 2015) was an American jazz impresario, disc jockey and label president. Born Eugene Nabatoff in Brooklyn, New York and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at 18, Gene began his radio career in San Francisco, before relocating to Los Angeles in the 1940s.
