gay angel is the monicker of composer/songwriter Jake Bellissimo. It was created after he was fired from a job writing for a musical, after which he started culling together stories and songs and realized that life was more appealing when re-told as a musical. Reeking of fondness for traditional American pop music and chamber music, Jake, raised somewhere in between classical conservatory training and DIY punk music, started to gather musicians to bring the songs to life through his arrangements.
