British keyboardist Garry Hughes began creating electronic soundscapes in 1985 with his innovative debut, Sacred Cities. "Ancient Evenings" is the mesmerizing title track from his 1988 ambient release of the same name. Hughes' unique sense of electronic texture has led to remixing work with various artists including Steve Reich, Robbie Robertson, and youth (producer of Crowded House, The Orb, and Killing Joke). Hughes composed the soundtrack for the film Streets of Yesterday, and his new release will be titled Global Trance Missions.
