Garren Epley's sound lies somewhere between the tape deck and the trash bin. His use of hardware and fear of MIDI leaves for a warm, warbly, off kilter feel, with swirling pads, over-compressed samples and dusty drum breaks ripped straight from the record. His latest EP favors more synth heavy production, a slight departure from Tesoro, but still remains cohesive with his style.
