About Gambit Family
Gambit Family is the brainchild of Willie Spade who originally used the name as a curtain to allow other artists to perform with him stating they were all under the same company. The term "Gambit" is used in chess meaning to "Sacrifice a smaller piece to gain a winning advantage" or more commonly now as "A maneuver" however; It is erroneously stated it came from the X-men character. After no longer needing to sponsor other artists under him for them to get shows at select venue's the name became rather obscure.
