Gal Musette is a singer-songwriter from Southern California whose melody-driven indie-folk songs combine the spirit of French chanson from the early 1900’s with a folk flare, and a touch of modern instrumentation, driving a unique combination of sounds. At age 14, inspired by The Magnetic Fields’ triple album 69 Love Songs, Gal recorded her own collection titled 70 Love Songs, which caught the attention of the band, and won her an opening slot on a few of their Midwestern U.
