In the 1960’s RTE the national broadcaster in their wisdom decided to have a talent contest through the Irish language. The results being so disasterous, they decided to open it up to the English language. It was an open door audition with one contestant after another parading in to sing with a very fine band, which included John Wadham on drums, Noel Kelehan on piano, Martin walsh on bass and Rick Walsh on guitar. Fortunately the results were recorded.
