About Gabriel Vivas
Born in El Paso, Texas in 1969 and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, Gabriel Vivas began his career as a bass player at the age of 17. In 1990 he moved to Florida and attended The University of Miami where he received his B.A. in Studio Music and Jazz Performance. Since then he has worked with many artists including legendary Tito Puente, Claudio Roditi, Dave Valentin, Pancho Cespedes, Sammy Figueroa, Patato Valdez, Shakira, Chayanne, Othello Molineux
